Florence Nightingale’s London – Walking Tour

Join Blue Badge Tourist Guide Julie Chandler on 12th May at 11.00am for a walking tour of Florence’s London. Starting at her home in Mayfair, we take in the story of Florence’s life through the places she lived and worked, and finish at her memorial statue where we’ll be laying flowers to celebrate Florence’s 202nd birthday.

Start: 11.00am outside the BMW motorbike shop (W1K 7TT) on the corner of Park Lane and South Street (nearest tube stations are Marble Arch and Hyde Park Corner)

Finish: The Florence Nightingale Statue at Waterloo Place

  • Advance booking for this event is required
  • This walk lasts approximately 2 hours, and will be conducted at a reasonable walking pace so please wear appropriate footwear
  • Visitors must bring their own mask, if they wish to wear one during the walk. Social distancing measures and preventive measures must be respected during the walk
  • Please note that admission to the museum is not included
